You are trained to run toward the fire. You are trained to stay calm in the chaos. But you aren't always taught how to leave the job at the station. RootFire Haven was built to bridge that gap. We provide first responders with the neuro-biological tools to discharge the stress of the shift, protect their physical longevity, and return home to what matters most.
The Three Pillars of the Haven
1. The Root (Structural Integrity)
We focus on the foundation—the spine. Having faced back surgery myself, I know the toll that 20 lbs of gear and 12-hour shifts take on the L4-L5/S1. We use specialized, back-safe movement to decompress your spine and keep you in the fight longer.
2. The Fire (Tactical Regulation)
We don’t ignore the "Fire" of the job; we help you manage it. Using 500 hours of advanced training, we utilize Tactical Meditation and breathwork as a "manual override" to de-escalate internal stress and maintain situational awareness during high-acuity calls.
3. The Haven (Somatic Recovery)
This is your "Rest & Digest" sanctuary. Through trauma-informed somatic yoga and End-of-Watch Rituals, we "shake off" the cumulative stress of the shift, lowering cortisol and securing the perimeter for deep, restorative sleep.

Most people in the wellness world don't understand the weight of a duty vest or the physical toll of a 12-hour shift. I do. I spent two years pursuing a degree in EMS and Law Enforcement, saw the grind firsthand on ride-alongs, and survived a major back surgery that changed my life.
As an RYT-500 with advanced training in Somatic Yoga, Trauma-Informed Care, and Tactical Meditation, I specialize in the neuro-biology of the first responder. I understand the L4-L5 compression from your duty belt, and I know how to help you discharge the adrenaline dump after a high-acuity call. I created RootFire Haven to be the resource I wish I had: a place to ground the heat, secure the spine, and find a true reset.
