The Charged Hush

The Snow Moon arrives when the winter is at its deepest. It’s named for the heavy blankets of frost that cover the earth here in Wisconsin, inviting us into what we call "The Charged Hush." While the world outside is still and frozen, this moon—glowing in the courageous sign of Leo—reminds us that our inner fire is still very much alive. It’s like the warmth of a favorite ceramic mug held between your palms; even in the cold, there is heat to be found.

In our circle, we use this time to:

  • Pause in the stillness of the season.

  • Tend to our internal warmth and the creative seeds we’re "wintering."

  • Connect heart-to-heart, sharing the light before the spring thaw begins.

“Under the light of the Snow Moon, I ignite my inner fire and move with heart-centered purpose.”
